We’re partnering with the fast-growing billing platform Billogram to enable quicker direct debit setups with instant account verification. Billogram’s mission is to transform outdated invoicing processes by combining interactive consumer experiences and automation. This combination serves to streamline customer management for businesses using recurring payments while improving the end-user experience. Billogram does this by offering interactive, personalised user journeys that make paying an invoice as painless as possible, resulting in lower churn and lower customer management costs. Tink’s account verification technology helps further this strategy by letting consumers connect and verify their bank account in real-time – without having to enter their details manually.

Expanding to six new markets across Europe

Billogram has already begun rolling out new, Tink-enabled account verification flows in Sweden, resulting in over 100,000 bank accounts connected in the last three months alone. Tink and Billogram plan to expand the partnership to six new markets over the next 6-12 months, including Norway and Finland. Tink’s Europe-wide coverage was an important factor in Billogram’s decision to partner.

‘While there are over 150 companies with an open banking licence, Tink stood out for us due to its ability to support us in multiple markets,’ said Tim Öhman Cirillo, COO at Billogram. ‘On top of this, the quality of the end-user experience and documentation were key for us. With Billogram in the process of expanding rapidly across Europe, Tink was the obvious choice as a scalable and reliable partner to help make our product experience as simple and as user-friendly as possible.’

With Tink’s Account Check, Billogram can now offer consumers an even more frictionless payment experience and continue optimising invoice management for their customers in key verticals like utilities, parking, and telecommunications. Tink’s partnership with Billogram is a clear example of how open banking technology can radically improve the end-user experience in a variety of use cases as of today, and we’re excited to see this partnership grow in the coming months.
